The goat man is already blind to the miracle of life.
The guide, a woman, will make him look inward.

For milenia she stayed below
propping up the picture show
of boisterous men, egoes aglow
conquering the seas and the river’s flow

Now she must take the helm
take back the Earth from men’s realm
with vision of her infant’s calm
her purpose is to teach no harm
